| Description |
| Proof of Current Certification from a state recognized certification
program. Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and basic wiring
principles. Ability to apply NEC standards. Ability to isolate defects
in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment. Ability
to measure, cut, thread, pull, and install electrical conduit. Ability
to use hand and power tools applicable to trade. Can perform maintenance
on electrical system components up to and including the secondary distribution
panel. Installing and repairing lighting, AC power distribution, switches,
receptacles, over current protection, conduit and wire. Can read blue
prints. Can direct others. |
| Experience/Education |
| 4-5 years experience. |
| Skills |
- Reading and following blueprints and wiring schematics
- Test equipment to verify proper installation.
- Install and maintain the electronic controls for machines.
- Install, connect, test and maintain electrical systems.
- Verify installations meet fire and safety code standards.
- Use a variety of tools to install and secure wiring, fixtures or
equipment.
- Skills to handle tools and materials accurately, efficiently and
safely.
- Good color vision.

| All pliers, cutters, and electrical
hand tools needed to support assigned tasks. Cordless screw gun with
screw and nut driver attachments. Basic mechanical hand tools: nine piece
set of box wrenches. Sockets, ¾” drive ratchet. Tap hammer.
