| Description |
| Performs general manual labor tasks including loading,
unloading, lifting and moving materials. Assists in a variety of functions
with manual labor tasks as needed. Has knowledge of common construction
site practices, procedures and concepts. Relies on instruction and direction
from supervisor in the performance of assigned tasks. Expected to seek
supervisor instruction once assigned task is completed. Capable of general assembly of mechanical parts using basic hand tools.
Assist senior level mechanical personnel in complex assembly of systems
or machines. Operates as a welder’s assistant. |
| Experience/Education |
| 1-3 years experience High School diploma
or equivalent preferred. |
| Skills |
- Apply caulking compounds by
hand or using caulking guns.
- Build and dismantle forms, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Erect and disassemble rack shelving, scaffolding, shoring, braces,
traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
- Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces such as metal, wood, or flooring,
using abrasive tools or machines.
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, conveyor, shelving
and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according
to project plans and specifications.
- Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas
where construction work will be performed.

Sockets, ¾” drive ratchet. Tap hammer. Tape measure. Cordless
